Records detail violent workings of big meth ring
Assaults. Kidnapping. Robberies. Drug deals. Addiction.
The Arizona Daily Star reports police statements in court records detail the violence tied to an alleged ring of methamphetamine dealers brought down in August, when officers arrested about 30 people.
The records detail how the so-called Greenwell-Owens ring allegedly made more than 800 drug sales since December 2003, distributing more than 20 pounds - or 2,250 plus doses - of meth and smaller amounts of other drugs.

Meth related crimes are running rampant! My own son was kidnapped/tortured and murdered because of this drug! When will we start pulling together as communites and neighborhoods and putting a stop to the manufacture of this deadly drug.

It has been discovered that my neighborhood houses at least four drug dealers, three of them meth dealers...
What our neighborhood association has done and has encouraged all of us to do is to call the police on even the SMALLEST infractions that we see at these homes. We're talking curfew violations for kids under 18, excessive noise, pets left out, domestic disturbances, whatever...the police log the # of times that they're called to a specific house. Also, they can't search without a warrant, but if they come by to check on a minor violation and SEE them making, using, or selling drugs, of course they can take action!
But it's got to be EVERYONE in the neighborhood agreeing to do this. If it's just one person, it looks like there's just a crabby old man or lady who hates kids or noise :o).
That is a good place to start. Other things to look for are the windows covered all the time. I've seen windows that were ALL covered with aluminum foil or painted black from the inside. Watch for alot of traffic. Notice smells such as a cat urine odor or rotten eggs. Keep in mind the police are also very swamped and don't have the manpower to follow up on everything... but... the fire department can followup on suspicious odors as they don't want to have to come to a fire because of a gas leak.
That's a fabulous idea - I had never even thought of the fire department!
Whatever you do, don't fall for the "it's not my business" line! If there's a meth dealer in your neighborhood, it's everyone's business, because it affects us all!
