DEATH * BY * METH

This is dedicated to Travis Holappa who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered on July 25, 2004 in Northern Minnesota. This was all due to meth. I am Travis' mother and I wish to make this devastation turn into a better thing by educating and exposing the truth about meth, the dangers, and the deadly consequences it brings about to individuals and communities.

I want to do what I can to educate people about what is going on around the world with the meth problem. I want people to know about it BEFORE they even get the idea to want to try it. It is a dangerous drug and will ruin your life as well as all those who love you. I am on a mission on behalf of my only son, Travis.

Man burned to death over meth

PORTAGE (NEWS 3) – A Portage man has pleaded guilty to six felony counts in the gruesome burning death of another man. Prosecutors in Cass County say they struck a deal for charges of manslaughter and methamphetamine manufacturing with 31-year-old Robert Richards. He was wanted in connection with the death of 25-year-old Joshua McCreary in September of 2004. Details can be found at: http://www.wwmt.com/engine.pl?station=wwmt&id=20795&template=breakout_local.html

Please, lets all start watching for signs of meth users, dealers and manufacturers! Are their lights on ALL night? Is there alot of traffic by their house all hours? Do they smell of ammonia, cat pee or the like? Do you REALLY know all of your neighbors? What kind of people are they? Kim

Kim, keep blogging - you are doing a good job. Those of us who live with the horror daily need a place to speak out. My son is 55 days clean from a 7 year addiction. First time he has been clean and not locked up. He went to prison for 3 years, came out and messed up immediately. Then 2 months ago decided on his own. You have to keep hope.
