City forum to focus on meth threat
INVER GROVE HEIGHTS
Inver Grove Heights will address the threat of methamphetamine during a two-hour community forum this month. At the event, Police Chief Chuck Kleckner will discuss the extent of the city's meth problem, and Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom will speak about meth-related crimes and legislation. Representatives from the Dakota County Drug Task Force and Dakota County Public Health will discuss meth labs and law enforcement tactics. Recovered meth user and national speaker David Parnell also is expected to attend. The event begins at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 in the auditorium of Simley High School, 2920 80th St. E.
