This is dedicated to Travis Holappa who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered on July 25, 2004 in Northern Minnesota. This was all due to meth. I am Travis' mother and I wish to make this devastation turn into a better thing by educating and exposing the truth about meth, the dangers, and the deadly consequences it brings about to individuals and communities.
I want to do what I can to educate people about what is going on around the world with the meth problem. I want people to know about it BEFORE they even get the idea to want to try it. It is a dangerous drug and will ruin your life as well as all those who love you. I am on a mission on behalf of my only son, Travis.

My child has been meth free for some time now and is doing very well. There is hope. There are days that are struggles but she has surrounded herself with so many people who want to support her recovery and do so.

Hey Kim I am from the range. I knew ur son from high school. I use to hang out with him way before addiction. I was absolutly gaga for him. When I heard what happened I was disgusted. I know the men that were involved and also knew them since I was young. It amazes me what meth can actually do to a persons character,souls,mind , everything. I am a recovering addict for 90days almost. I am struggling with a person from my addict life. He won't leave me alone. Just last nite he told me he's gonna slit my throat and kill my kids as well as my father. The thing that makes me most worried is that he's lost his mind from this addiction and that he is probably serious. I say this cause he's one of the people involved in travis's case. The cops don't listen. They've done nothing to help. They know he deals and is crazy. But yet nothing. I can't just pick up and move. I'm feeling cornered.
